FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Farmington Hills Police Department is investigating two daytime home break-ins that happened at Independence Green Apartments, located in the 20000 block of Farmington Drive in Farmington Hills.
In both incidents, the suspect(s) entered from the doorwall. No one was home during the time of the break-ins.

In light of these incidents, the FHPD Crime Prevention Section offers these crime prevention tips:
-Secure all doors and windows whenever possible, whether you are home or not.
-Reinforce sliding doors and windows with track bars or sliding track locking devices.
-Stay alert to all suspicious persons and activities occurring in your neighborhood and call 911 whenever you observe suspicious activity.
