HOWELL, Mich. - Police in Howell are searching for a suspect in the armed robbery of a pizza shop late Friday night.

A man with a gun entered the Hungry Howie's Pizza shop on east Grand River in downtown Howell just before midnight.

He demanded money and the store's money bag which, police say, suggests he knew the staff was going to be making a bank deposit.

Shop employees say the robber was a white man and was about six feet tall.

He wore a mask over his face.

Nobody was injured in the robbery.
