Shoppers wanted for Junk in Trunk resale event

Rochester's community resale event is Saturday, June 15th

ROCHESTER, Mich. – Junk in the Trunk, Rochester's community resale event, is Saturday, June 15th.

Over 50 businesses, residents and crafters will sell their new and used merchandise from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Farmers' Market Upper Lot in downtown Rochester.

"This year, you won't just find items for resale," said Stephanie Hellebuyck, Rochester Downtown Development Authority Events Coordinator. "We've added handmade crafters to the list of those who can participate. Between area residents, downtown Rochester businesses and crafters, there is sure to be an array of resale, new and handmade products."

What's for sale?

Shoppers can expect residents to have resale items such as furniture, antiques, collectibles, dishes, glassware, and accessories.

Handmade crafts include jewelry, wreaths, art work, garden decor and more.

Kids can also have fun at Junk in the Trunk. An art activity using recycled materials will be available at the Kids-2-Kids Sale.

Kids-2-Kids will allow children to bring items such as toys, games, and electronics to sell or trade directly to other kids.

There is no fee for the children's sale , but pre-registration is required and space is limited.

The Rochester Farmers' Market will also be held at its usual time and place on Saturday.

The market is located at the corner of E. Third & Water, in the lower level parking lot.
