Sunshine on tap for Tuesday

Slow warmup this week

DETROIT – High pressure will truly dominate our weather for the next several days.

That means we will see plenty of September sunshine and a slow warm up this week.

It's crisp out there again this morning with temps in the 30's and 40's around Metro Detroit with areas of patchy fog.

The fog will move out throughout the morning leaving hazy sunshine through the morning and more genuine sun into your Tuesday afternoon.

Highs will again be stuck in the middle 60's as the east winds will drag a few clouds and cooler air across SE Michigan and Southern Ontario.

It won't be as cold early Wednesday but still a cool start tomorrow.

Highs will be closer to 70 degrees with mostly sunny skies and light winds.

Low to mid 70's for the rest of the week and most of the weekend and dry weather until Sunday.

The latest computer model information is holding the rain off until midday or early afternoon.

So if you have outdoor plans this weekend.  Saturday looks great and Sunday will be wet into the afternoon.
