TAYLOR, Mich. – A Taylor firefighter was hurt Thursday morning while helping battle a a fire at Pool Town pool supply on Telegraph Rd. near Ecorse Rd.
The fire broke out just after 4 a.m.
The injured firefighter was transported to the hospital to be checked out after being exposed to some of the chemicals at the fire scene. His condition has not been released.
Two lanes of Telegraph Rd. were shut down for approximately 2 hours while firefighters worked the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
