The video shows the driver of the sports utility vehicle lose control and slam into a building. It wasn't over.

"Crazy behavior, obviously, from the guy behind the wheel," said Sheriff Michael Bouchard. "Not only is he driving really dangerously, you know, 70 miles per hour in some places and residential areas, but then runs into a building and then intentionally runs into one of my deputy's cars."

The driver put up a fight with deputies who surrounded the vehicle. He punched and kicked as they worked to apprehend him. He eventually was arrested.

However, another man escaped and remained on the loose Monday night. The man had fled the vehicle before the crash.

"I would think he's fairly dangerous given the fact that he bails out of a moving vehicle," said Bouchard. "(He) could have been run over, could have been killed. He obviously really didn't want to get caught."

The Sheriff said deputies are actively searching for the man who fled. They believe he is armed.
