SALINE, Mich. - Robert Anthony is an Army veteran who served during Iraq. When Anthony returned home he was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Three years ago the VA suggested he get a therapy dog to help him cope with the disorder and that's when Sita the Hungarian Vizsla came into his life.

Anthony received Sita when she was just a puppy; he's had her ever since.

"I cannot express just how important this dog has been to me. She has helped so very much and now she's missing," Anthony said.

Sita disappeared early Friday morning from her home on West Willis Road in Saline. She is micro-chipped but wasn't wearing her collar when she disappeared.

"Time is critical right now, it's going to be very hot today and I'm losing my mind trying to find her," said Anthony
