WASHTENAW COUNTY, Mich. - Law enforcement in Washtenaw County teamed up Wednesday to crack down on bad drivers.
The Washtenaw Sheriff's Department, Michigan State Police, University of Michigan Police and Pittsfield Township Police now pool resources.
This means that no matter where a driver violates laws, they can be pulled over and ticketed by an officer from any jurisdiction.
On Wednesday, the new team traffic detail made 66 traffic stops along Michigan Avenue.
Over the course of 4 hours they handed out 11 citations, 52 verbal warnings and made 3 arrests.
