Deadly shooting at nightclub on Detroit's east side leaves 1 person dead

Detroit police identify victim as Randolph Miggins of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

DETROIT - Three people were shot, one killed following a shooting at Mai Tai's Bar near 8 Mile and Schoenherr roads in Detroit about 2 a.m. Monday.

Detroit police have identified the victim as Randolph Ramon Miggins, of Pittsburgh, Pa. Miggins had been shot in the head several times and once in the back.

His body was found in the doorway of the bar.

Investigators tell Local 4 that Miggins had more than $3,000 cash on him and Miggins was in town visiting for Father's Day

Police tell Local 4 that Miggins was inside the nightclub smashing beer bottles on others before the shots rang out.

Bullet casings were fould scattered in front of the nightclub.

No suspects have been taken into custody at this time, but police believe another man inside the Mai Tai's fired the shots.

Police are still investigating.
