Detroit area community and Social Justice leaders contiune the work of MLK

The celebration of the life and work of MLK is continued

DETROIT – The Voices for Action Forum for Social Justice will host a continuing of the celebration of the life and work of activist and humanitarian Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The event will be held Jan. 25 from 9:30 a.m. until noon at the UAW National Program Center on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit. The forum is free and open to the public.

The community-based forums were created to provide an outlet for continuous discussion on how to move beyond and eliminate racial inequality, and economic injustice and social issues that King dedicated his life to fighting against.
