PLYMOUTH, Mich. – Celebrate a nostalgic Christmas with the vocal group Simply Dickens, who will perform "Old World Christmas Carols" at the Plymouth Historical Museum on Tuesday, December 4 at 7 p.m.

The show focuses on music of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, highlighting Christmas carols that were popular long ago. Some tunes will be familiar, while others may be a first-time experience. Group members incorporate holiday skits, adding comedy and laughter to this seasonal performance.

Tickets to the "Old World Christmas Carols" show are $10 in advance or $15 at the door and can be purchased at the Museum or on the website at www.plymouthhistory.org. Purchase a new or renewed Daisy membership to the Friends of the Plymouth Historical Museum ($50
value) and receive 2 free tickets to this event.

Museum doors will open at 6 p.m., the show begins at 7 p.m.

Come early to explore the Museum's special exhibit "A Dickens of a Christmas," which runs through January 13, 2013. The exhibit pays homage to the Victorian holiday world of Charles Dickens, who celebrates his 200th birthday this year.
