MONROE, Mich. - A Monroe Public Schools bus driver and five elementary students were hurt Thursday morning when their bus was involved in a crash.

In a statement, the district said the No. 14 bus and a car collided just before 8:30 a.m. on St. Anne Drive east of Ave de Lafayette in the Frenchmen's Bend subdivision.

The bus was carrying Manor Elementary School students.
