New $25,000 reward offered in Heidelberg Project fires

A private donor is offering an additional $25,000 reward for information in the arsons at Detroit's Heidelberg Project

DETROIT - A private donor is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the fires targeting Detroit's Heidelberg Project.

The reward is in addition to the $5,000 reward offered by the Michigan Arson Prevention Committee.

The most recent Heidelberg Project home to go down in flames was the "Clock House." It was the fifth fire in a matter of weeks and the eighth in the past eight months.

Only two houses from the Heidelberg Project remain.
