DETROIT – A Detroit woman woke up Tuesday morning to the sight of a naked stranger standing in her bedroom in Midtown.
The home invasion happened at about 5 a.m. in the 4600 block of St. Antoine Street.
According to police, the man entered the home through a rear window. The 59-year-old woman said the man pulled a blanket off of her and touched her leg. When the woman woke up and screamed, the man fled the home through the back door.
“From head to toe he was naked,” the woman said. “I don’t understand. Where’s your clothes?”
A neighbor said a similar incident happened to her as well and she beat the man with a broom as he was running nude down the stairs.
The man was described as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, has a heavy build and bald.
