Outdoor adventure park opens in West Bloomfield

Opening ceremony Friday, with free climbing

An outdoor adventure park with tree platforms, bridges and zip lines is scheduled to open Saturday in West Bloomfield.

The Adventure Park at West Bloomfield is leasing a five-acre site at the Jewish Community Center. It's holding an opening ceremony Friday, with free climbing that day.

Paid admission starts April 5. Admission costs for three hours will range from $29 to $49,depending on age and time.

The park has 100 tree platforms. They're connected by cable, wood and rope to form bridges and zip lines.

Operators say the park has 10 trails of different difficulty levels for children age 5 and older, as well as adults.
