Peeping Tom terrorizes east Detroit neighborhood for second year in a row

Residents say the man has become bolder

DETROIT – It all started one night last summer with a man showing up after 9 p.m. on East Savannah Street, and looking in windows, exposing himself and masturbating.

When the weather got colder he disappeared. Last week, he returned and he's  already been by LaTonya Hill's home this week. Now he's getting closer to the house and bolder.

"I saw a shining light and I was like where is this coming from," Hill told us. "I look outside and there he is exposing his private parts."

He's now started masturbating  with the light feature on his phone on so everybody can see what's happening. Hill has young children, and the man seems to favor hanging outside her 12-year-old daughter's bedroom window.

She called police last summer but they couldn't find him.

After we contacted the Detroit Police Department, we hooked Hill up with her precinct commander.

She's had it.

"Even though I can't afford it I'm getting the camera, getting the guard dog because my children come first," she said.
