Police: Argument leads to shooting in Harrison Township

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A man was shot in the hip Saturday in Harrison Township after having an argument with another man, police said.

According to police, a 31-year-old man was shot in the 25000 block of Orchid Street at about 7:30 p.m. The man suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and was taken to McLaren Hospital.

Police have a 43-year-old man in custody as a person of interest. Police said he is being cooperative.

The shooting remains under investigation. Authorities have not released the names of the men.
