Police release video of person of interest in fatal stabbing

28-year-old woman fatally stabbed, police say

DETROIT – Police are asking for help in identifying a person of interest wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing that happened in Detroit.

Police sad a woman was fatally stabbed Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in the 6100 block of Michigan Avenue. The 28-year-old woman was found with a stab wound to her body. She was transported to a hospital, where she died.

Police are looking for a white man who is 5 feet, 7 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing dark-colored work boots or shoes and tan pants. The pants have stains on the knees. He was wearing a dark-colored shirt and a hat.
