Donald Trump slams ‘fake news' leaks, Hillary Clinton in series of Saturday morning tweets

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump took to Twitter Saturday morning to blast the media about a story that claims Attorney General Jeff Sessions had conversations about policy matters with a Russian ambassador.

In a series of tweets, Trump called out The Washington Post for an intelligence leak and accused The New York Times of having a “sick agenda over national security.”

“A new INTELLIGENCE LEAK from the Amazon Washington Post, this time against A.G. Jeff Sessions. These illegal leaks, like Comey's, must stop!” Trump tweeted.

The Washington Post published an article Friday that claimed Sessions discussed matters related to the Trump campaign with Russia’s ambassador to Washington during the 2016 presidential race.

The president also referenced Hillary Clinton’s deleted emails and alleged ties to Russia.

"...What about all of the Clinton ties to Russia, including Podesta Company, Uranium deal, Russian Reset, big dollar speeches etc.," he said.

He ended the series of tweets by mentioning how it’s up to Republican senators to vote to repeal and replace Obamacare, and that tax reform and infrastructure are next on his agenda.

“ObamaCare is dead and the Democrats are obstructionists, no ideas or votes, only obstruction. It is solely up to the 52 Republican Senators!” Trump tweeted.
