Citing a recent USA Today poll, Meleiza Figueor, the Stein campaign's press director, said the American people want more candidates on the debate stage.

According to the poll, 76 percent of respondents are in favor of open debates.

Figueor said the Commission of Presidential Debates, a private entity controlled by the Democratic and Republican parties and their donors, refuses to host the debate that the public wants to see.

Stein will provide livestream coverage of the debate on her Facebook and YouTube Channel where her previous livestreams of the debates have reached over 23.4 million viewers.
