DETROIT - A preliminary exam is scheduled Thursday for Sandford McQueen, 22, and Karen Marie Geletzke, 23, in connection with the death of a 1-year-old baby boy.

Police were called to a home in the 19300 block of Keating because an infant wasn't breathing. He was transferred to a local hospital and pronounced dead because of burns. The medical examiner declared it a homicide.
