DETROIT - Friday and Saturday, the public will get the chance to get a glimpse of what used to be the home of one of Detroit's wealthiest couples and take home a piece of Detroit history.

The Don Barden and Bella Marshall estate sale will run Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 18240 Fairway Drive, which is just south of 7 Mile Road and near the Detroit Golf Club course.

Barden will always be remembered for his wealth and partnering with Michael Jackson to try to get one of Detroit's casinos.

After 22 years of marriage, the couple filed for divorce, but Don passed away in 2011, before it was settled. After Bella's passing last year, their estate has finally opened to the public.

The home is filled with furniture and decorative items from their life together and shoppers didn't wait to line the street and take home some impressive items from expensive gowns and furniture to Halloween and Christmas decorations.
