DETROIT - One of the brand new streetcars for the QLINE was vandalized over the weekend.

The letters “ACAB” were painted on the side of a railcar in the 7500 block of Woodward Avenue. The acronym is an anti-police slogan.

The graffiti also included the words, "Worlds Greatest!"

The three-piece streetcars are each 66 feet long and carry an average of 125 passengers per car.

QLINE passenger operations are scheduled to start in spring 2017.

The rail line extends 3.3 miles north along Woodward Avenue from Downtown Detroit.
