Roseville police looking for carjackers who targeted nurse

2 men armed with handgun steal 2010 tan Jeep Liberty from victim near Groveland, Northview streets

ROSEVILLE, Mich. - A nurse leaving a patient's Roseville home Monday night was carjacked at gunpoint.

Roseville police said the victim was leaving a home in the area of Groveland and Northview at about 11 p.m. when two younger black men with braided hair confronted her and demanded the keys to her 2010 tan Jeep Liberty.

Police said one of the men pointed a a semi-automatic handgun at the victim until she complied.

The men got away with her SUV, followed by two other men in a Mercury Grand Marquis.

Police said it appears the duo in the Grand Marquis appears to have been casing the area for potential victims and pointed out the nurse.

The nurse wasn't physically hurt.

Police haven't released any other descriptions of the carjackers.
