DETROIT – Police are looking for information in the murder of a 55-year-old man on Detroit’s west side.
DeVel Browning, Sr. was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds on June 22 in the 3300 block of Montgomery Avenue.
According to family members, Browning left a friend’s home around 11 p.m. the night before and was headed to Grand Liquor Store.
Browning was the father of two children and made a living as a freelance mechanic, horticulturist and builder of commercial and residential properties. He was among the workers that built Wayne State’s former engineering department.
Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest.
