WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A decision in a 9-year-long dispute between Washington Township homeowners has been pushed back.
Talks during a hearing Tuesday went on for hours, but no agreement was reached.
Another hearing has been scheduled for July 30.
Neighbors say that in 2004 the 9,000-square-foot house in the Lockwood Hills development was built too close to the house next door, placing the structure in violation of deed restrictions.
The homeowner has taken the case through state courts and now finds himself out of options.
