Hole appears to be 14 feet deep

DETROIT - A Detroit cab that was stuck in a sinkhole on Westbound Jefferson at Randolph Saturday night has been safely removed.

The two right lanes of WB Jefferson are closed and there is no pedestrian traffic allowed in the area. Fans travelling to the auto show are being asked to take the lodge instead of 375.

The Sinkhole appears to be a little bigger than a manhole and about 14 feet deep. Officials say it could take hours or the rest of the week to fix it.

Traffic can still get to the tunnel and the Renaissance Center. Some water to the Coleman A Young Building has been turned off.
