DETROIT – 
A massive sinkhole that opened up Friday in the middle of Linwood and Monterey Avenue is still under repair.

Crews from the Detroit Department of Water and Sewerage have blocked the intersection and are in the process of excavating the 30-foot hole.
Backhoes are in constant motion. DWSD says once they've cleaned the hole out they will begin on the repair of the sewer and water lines.
Expect the area on Detroit's west side to be closed for repairs for another week.
