Spring break's hot new travel tech

Many Americans are heading out on spring break vacations. Many scenic destinations mean an upgrade from smartphones might be in order.

"Cameras like Nikon D3500 have much better image resolution," said Techlicious' Suzanne Kantra. "Fifteen times that of a smartphone sensor."

For comparison, the Nikon D3500 shoots photos at 24.2 megapixels, while an iPhone X shoots 12-megapixel photos.

With Bluetooth connectivity, those scenic photos can easily be turned into Instagram and Snapchat moments by sending the photos to your phone.
