ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. - St. Clair Shores police have released the sketch of a man they said robbed a gas station and is possibly connected to another robbery at a 7-Eleven.

Police said the robber went into the Shell station on 10 Mile Saturday evening and threatened the clerk with a knife while demanding cash from the register.

The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The clerk wasn't hurt.

A police K-9 tracked the robber to a nearby apartment complex parking lot, but nothing was found.

Police said they are investigating whether the gas station robber was also involved in the robbery of a 7-Eleven in Clinton Township.

He's described as white with short brown hair, in his late 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build.

Anyone with information is asked to call the St. Clair Shores Police Department at 586-445-5300.
