BRIGHTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Michigan State Police trooper and a Livingston County Sheriff's Deputy were involved in a shooting Tuesday night in Brighton Township.
Investigators are not saying much, but according to a state police news release one person is in custody and being treated at a local hospital. Â
The shooting happened on Spencer Road near Old US-23 at the old Michigan State Police Brighton Post.Â
Brighton police also assisted with the call. Â
More information is expected to be released later Wednesday.
