DETROIT – Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 36-year-old man on Detroit’s east side.
The shooting happened at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 7900 block Charlevoix Street.
Video surveillance shows the 36-year-old victim being walked out of a party store at gunpoint. Police said he was forced to sit inside a vehicle, where he was shot.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The gunman is described as black, 25 to 30 years old, 6 feet tall, with a dark complexion, dreadlocks and a full beard. He was wearing a white T-shirt and black Dickies pants. The woman seen in the video is wanted for questioning.
Police said the woman and the gunman escaped in a bronze newer-model Chrysler 200.
