Ryan Curtis Curcio accused of breaking into home, attacking woman

ROMULUS, Mich. - A 25-year-old man has been charged with the robbery and rape of an elderly woman.

Ryan Curtis Curcio is facing charges of first-degree home invasion, armed robbery, first-degree criminal sexual conduct, fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, larceny in a building and interfering with an electronic communication device.

He's scheduled to be arraigned Friday afternoon.

During an interview with Local 4 last week, the 72-year-old victim said had no idea someone was in her home until she came face-to-face with him.

"All of a sudden I looked and he was standing there. I thought he had a knife," she said. "He said, 'Don't look at me.' I begged, 'Don't hurt me. Don't hurt my dogs,'" she said.
