Suspected meth lab raided by MSP at home in Westland

WESTLAND, Mich. – Michigan State Police raided a suspected meth lab Sunday at a home in Westland shutting down a dangerous operation and removing highly-toxic chemicals from the neighborhood.

The raid happened at a home in the 34000 block of Decatur Court, near Glenwood Road and South Wildwood Avenue. Teams in hazmat suits were seen working the scene.

According to MSP, chemicals and several components of the lab were seized from the property and will be destroyed.

It is unclear if any arrests or charges were made by police.
