FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 17-year-old boy died Sunday morning when he was hit by a vehicle in Frenchtown Township, police said.
Police said Austin Noe was hit by a 2013 GMC Sierra pickup truck after he ran into North Telegraph Road, north of Buhl Road, at about 5:34 a.m.

Noe, of Newport, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A 59-year-old man was driving the truck. Police said speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
The crash remains under investigation.
