"Monday I tried to wake him up, and he fell back to sleep," Amy Shaw, his mother, said. "(I'd say), 'Wyatt, Wyatt, Wyatt!' And he fell back to sleep again."

He was admitted to Norton Children's Hospital, where doctors eventually used medication usually used to treat seizers to wake Wyatt up.

Doctors are still not able to figure out why Wyatt fell asleep for 11 days.

"They said, 'We'll probably never know, but we're just going to treat him now with rehab to get him better,'" Shaw said.
