PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Thousands of DTE Energy customers in Plymouth are without power after a substation caught fire.

UPDATE: Power restored in Plymouth

The DTE Energy outage map shows approximately 3,800 customers are without power in the area.

There were also nearly 2,000 customers without power in Canton due to a separate issue, officials said. It appears those customers have had their power restored.

DTE Energy expects to have power restored by 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the outage map.
