YPSILANTI, Mich. – It's a bond only twins can understand.
Jennifer and Julia Niswinder were inseparable.

"She always made sure everyone knew that she had a twin. Even if she first met them she'd say, 'My name is Julia and I have a twin,'" said Jennifer. "We did everything together. She was my best friend. I always had somebody to hang out with, someone to go to."
Julia, a 23-year-old Eastern Michigan University student, was found dead Tuesday night at her off-campus apartment. Jennifer, her grandmother rose, along with friends and family, were at the Ypsilanti Police Department on Thursday searching for answer to so many questions.
"She was just so loving. I think too trusting sometimes," said Jennifer.
Police are calling Julia's death an apparent homicide. Everyone is waiting for more details on her death.
Police had been called to the apartment to conduct a welfare check after friends and family said they were concerned. They had not heard from Julia in a couple of days. An autopsy was performed Wednesday. The cause of death is still "pending," police say. Although police say there were no "outward" signs of trauma on Julia's body, there are still "indicators of possible foul play," investigators say.
Meanwhile, support for the Niswender family has flooded Jennifer's Facebook page. Each comment and post from classmates to strangers has helped ease Jennifer's pain, even if just for a second.
"I can't even begin to describe how much it means to me to know that I have this wonderful support, that people are thinking about me and my family," Jennifer said.
There will be two candlelight vigils for Julia on Friday night. One will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Munson Park on Custer Road in Monroe. The other is later at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Big Bob's Lakehouse which is in the middle of the Eastern Michigan Ypsilanti campus.
