Unidentified boy with autism found wandering in Redford Twp. reunited with family

REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - UPDATE: The boy has since been reunited with his family.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying an boy with autism found wandering Wednesday evening in Redford Township.

He was in the area of Telegraph and Plymouth roads at the Exxon gas station. The clerk called police when the boy left and he was found at Plymouth Road and Winston Avenue.

The boy described as black, about 12 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, and has a medium complexion. He was found wearing a blue shirt, grey shorts, white ankle high socks and tan house slippers.
