University of Michigan issues crime alert after woman reports assault by 3 men

Campus police say woman was groped by man walking through Ingalls Mall

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - A woman says she was groped by three men while walking through Ingalls Mall at the University of Michigan late Saturday night.

In a crime alert, campus police say the woman was confronted by the men who taunted her using an anti-homosexual slur and that one of the men grabbed her several times on her arm and breast.

The woman managed to get away and wasn't hurt.

The description by police of the woman's assaulter: white man between 18 and 20 years, medium build, medium-length blond hair, unshaven. He was wearing a light-colored T-shirt and blue jeans.
