Vacant building on Vernor Highway in Detroit burns down

No one hurt, cause of fire still under investigation

DETROIT - No one was hurt early Thursday morning when a large vacant building on Detroit's southwest side went up in flames.

Cleanup is still under way from the fire on Vernor Highway near Hubbard.

Vernor Highway is closed between Clark Street and W. Grand Boulevard.

The cause of the is still under investigation.
