Van Buren school bus collides with car; no students injured

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Van Buren Public Schools bus collided with a car Thursday on Tyler Road near Hannan Road, just west of Detroit Metro Airport.

There were students on the bus at the time of the crash but none of them were injured, according to the school district.

However, Van Buren Township police say there were other minor injuries suffered in the crash.

The car sustained heavy damage to its front end. The bus was damaged primarily on one side and on the front.
