Vehicle hits Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital emergency room

Alcohol believed to be factor

WYANDOTTE, Mich. – Repair crews are fixing damage at the Henry Ford Wyandotte emergency room after a vehicle crashed into the emergency room doors overnight. 

Police said the vehicle hit the doors of the emergency room about 12:30 a.m. Monday, injuring the driver. No one else was hurt.

That driver, a 30-year-old Lincoln Park man, is now hospitalized. 

Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
