The woman was in her laundry room at an apartment in the 600 block of Prentis Street when a man approached her from behind and forced her outside. Investigators say the man took the woman to an alley where he sexually assaulted her.

He did not stop there. He took her to five different ATMs in the area trying to get her to withdraw cash. He sexually assaulted her again at East Palmer and Woodward Avenue.

The terror ended at Marcus Market where the man was caught on camera trying to make the woman withdraw money from the ATM. She was able to break loose.

The suspect took off running. He got away with only $15.

Police want help in their search for the man in surveillance photos and on the video.

Anyone with information is asked to call 800-SPEAK-UP.

This all happened near Wayne State University's campus but the woman is not a student.
