Warren police: Trucker says 33K of chicken stolen from storage lot

WARREN, Mich. - Warren police are on the lookout for a semi-truck containing 33,000 pounds of chicken after it was reported stolen from a storage lot.

According to a police report, the truck's driver called Tuesday morning to report the truck missing from where it had been parked in a lot on Mound Road.

The truck had a refrigerated trailer that was loaded with frozen chicken.

The only marking on the truck is "Global Expediters." The stolen trailer was bearing MI plate: 0020173.

Police said there was no video surveillance of the scene.
