GROSSE POINTE SHORES, Mich. - A water main break at Colonial Road and Lakeshore Road in Grosse Pointe Shores is resulting in low water pressure for some residents.
Officials say the loss of pressure could cause the water to become a brownish rust color, which results from iron deposits in the system. Those deposits are not harmful.
Affected residents should let taps run for a few minutes to make the water safe to use.
The problem is scheduled to be fixed Monday morning.
