WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Waterford Township police are investigating a fatal shooting on the 1300 block of Rossdale Drive that happened Friday night.
According to authorities, police arrived at the home and found the body of a 41-year-old man just inside the front door. The investigation revealed the victim was known to the residents of the home and it wasn't a random home invasion.

Police do have a suspect in custody who is currently in the Oakland County Jail.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office crime lab assisted at the scene. Waterford police would not comment on the case.
