A distillery in Maine is offering a new, limited-edition bourbon made partly from the secretion of a beaver's castor sacs, according to The Associated Press.
Eau De Musc, the newest selection from Tamworth Distilling, says the secretion is historically used as a flavoring and is marked "generally safe" by the FDA. The flavor is "bright" with "fruit qualities and rich leathery notes along with creamy vanilla aroma."
The Tamworth Distilling website says the liquor is "a medley of charming flavors that are sure to impress."
