DETROIT - A Willow Run Community Schools student is accused of punching a bus driver in the head Thursday, the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office said.

The office said the 37-year-old driver told them he broke up a fight between two students and that one of them returned a short time later and tried to get back on the bus. When the driver refused to allow the student back on, the student threw the punch.

The driver wasn't hurt.

The sheriff's office said the case had been turned over to the county prosecutor.

They didn't release the student's name or age but said the suspect was a juvenile.
