WYANDOTTE, Mich. - A Trenton woman is accused of being intoxicated and crashing into two cars in a rage after not being invited to her daughter's wedding last week.

Wyandotte police said they were called to the Silver Shores Banquet Center on Friday by witnesses who said the woman had crashed into the cars that were in the parking lot and then had taken off.

Police said witnesses followed the woman and officers pulled her over in Southgate.

The witnesses told police she was the mother of the bride but hadn't been invited to the wedding because of a family issue. She had shown up at the banquet hall, been convinced to leave, but then drove around the parking lot hitting her daughter and another person's car.

Police said the woman refused sobriety tests and was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated, open intoxicants and leaving the scene of a crash.

Her arraignment is pending the results of a blood test that was taken.
